When he was acquainted with the trumpet for the first time at the age of seven in the local brass band, the enthusiasm for this instrument thrilled him immediately.
Studies at the music school and the vocational music college led him on his way for prices with the federal competition "Jugend musiziert".
Tobias Ziegler (born in 1984) became a member in the Bundesjugendorchester, the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. Moreover, he was a trainee with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Stuttgart. Master classes with German Brass and Prof. Wolfgang Bauer have strongly sped him up on his way to orchestra trumpet player and soloist.
At the moment Tobias Ziegler studies under Prof. Wolfgang Bauer in the College of Music in Stuttgart.
As a chamber musician he often plays in the brass player's ensemble City Brass Stuttgart and is a soloist in great demand throughout Germany and abroad.
